Harta Retreat
Matt & Kelly’s festival wedding at Harta Retreat in North Devon was an unforgettable celebration filled with sunshine, live music, and laid-back countryside vibes. As a North Devon wedding photographer, these are the kinds of weddings I love to capture — relaxed, authentic, and full of personality.
Set amongst the beautiful orchards and glamping yurts at Harta Retreat, the day had the perfect festival atmosphere from start to finish. The ceremony, led by the wonderful celebrant Shani Randall, was heartfelt, fun, and completely personal to Matt & Kelly.
After the ceremony, we explored the orchard and wandered through the yurts for their couple portraits, capturing natural moments in the warm Devon evening light. I also photographed part of the day using my medium format Hasselblad camera, creating timeless film-inspired images with a beautifully honest and nostalgic feel.
Music played a huge part in the celebrations, with the groom Matt performing guitar alongside his band during the evening reception. As the sun set over the North Devon countryside, the party continued late into the night with an incredible dance floor and an atmosphere that nobody wanted to leave.
